Industrial explosion-proof robots are a type of specialized automation equipment designed for industrial environments with flammable and explosive risks. Their core function is to safely perform various tasks in places containing explosive mixtures such as flammable gases, vapors, dust, or fibers.

Compared to ordinary industrial robots, it achieves safety protection through multi-dimensional explosion-proof design: structurally, it employs a flameproof enclosure to seal components that may generate sparks, electric arcs, or high temperatures. The enclosure can withstand internal explosion pressure and prevent flame leakage; in terms of circuit design, it adopts intrinsically safe circuits, strictly limiting current, voltage, and power to ensure that the circuit energy is too low to ignite explosive mixtures; in material selection, it uses anti-static, high-temperature-resistant alloys or composite materials to avoid static electricity or sparks generated by friction and collision.

In addition, its moving parts (such as bearings and gears) undergo special lubrication and sealing treatments to prevent friction-induced heat from reaching the ignition temperature. Such robots must comply with international IEC or domestic GB explosion-proof standards from design, manufacturing to testing, ultimately achieving the core goal of "being able to operate efficiently while not becoming a source of explosion", providing automated solutions for high-risk industrial scenarios.
